I am currently a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon  at Nottingham University Hospital (NUH) NHS Trust, Nottingham, UK. I am also Co-Chairman of Medical Staff Committee for the Queen’s Medical Centre of NUH. I am Head of Bastow Clinical Investigative Unit at Children’s Hospital at NUH.

I have worked as Paediatric Surgeon at Consultant (Attending) in India, Kuwait, Australia, UK and USA. I have served as Program Director for Paediatric Surgery for Nottingham University Hospital.  I have been a Service lead for Paediatric Surgery and Paediatric Intensive care and Paediatic Gastroenterology (Surgeon in Chief) at NUH. I have served as Attending Pediatric Urologist and Attending Pediatric Surgeon at Children’s National Medical Centre Washington DC (2009-2010). I have served as Attending Pediatric Surgeon and Associate Professor for Pediatric Surgery at West Virginia University (WVU) Hospitals, Morgantown, West Virginia USA and had been Chief of Pediatric Surgery at WVU.

I received Doctorate of Medicine (DM) from Nottingham University in 2009 for my research in lower Gastrointestinal issue of Constipation and fecal Incontinence in Children . I was awarded the degree of  master’s in business administration (MBA) from Warwick University UK in 2009. I am fellow of Royal College of Surgeons of England and Ireland. I am Fellow of American College of Surgeons and Fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics. I am Fellow of International Society in Quality in Health Care.
