Advanced Pediatric Surgery

I am delighted to announce the publication of my new book, Advanced Pediatric Surgery, published by CRC Press/Taylor & Francis.

This international collaborative work brings together a large group of experienced paediatric surgeons and specialists from across the world, representing five continents. The book covers 84 key topics across paediatric surgery, including neonatal and gastrointestinal surgery, thoracic surgery, colorectal conditions, hepatobiliary disease, urology, oncology, trauma, and other important areas of children's surgical care.

The aim is to make complex paediatric surgical knowledge clear, practical, and readily accessible. The chapters use illustrations, tables, flowcharts, clinical pathways, and concise learning points so readers can quickly understand and apply key information. Although written principally for paediatric surgeons and trainees, the book is also relevant to paediatricians, neonatologists, emergency physicians, general surgeons, radiologists, family practitioners and other professionals involved in recognising and caring for children with surgical conditions.

The book reflects the collective experience of specialists working in different healthcare systems worldwide, while emphasising the common principles of safe, evidence-informed, and compassionate surgical care for children.
